Edward Lee Bell

Edward Lee Bell, 77, of Bedford, passed away on Friday, December 14, 2012 at his residence. He was born in Somerset, KY on November 19, 1935, a son of the late Ruel Lee Bell and Dorothy Mae Bell. In addition to his parents Edward was preceded in death by his loving wife, Phyllis Katherine Bell.

 Edward is survived by four daughters, Sherry Mountford of Tampa, Fl, Sherry Lee and her husband, Maurice of Goode, Jennifer Bell of Nashville, Tenn., and Kim Amparan and her husband, Aquiles, Jr.of Bedford; seven grandchildren, Alexandria Lee, Samantha Lee, Brendan Ganley, Jessica Ganley, Kyle Hogan, Keeley Amparan and Grace Amparan; and numerous nieces and nephews.

 Memorial contributions may be made to Bedford Church of God, 1212 E. Main Street, Bedford, Virginia or The American Cancer Society, 2050 Langhorne Road, Suite 201, Lynchburg, Virginia 24501.

 A Memorial service will be held at Tharp Funeral Home Chapel, Bedford at 11:00 am on Monday, December 17, 2012 with the Reverend Donnie Glass officiating.
