Edward was born December 16, 1930, in Brooklyn, N.Y. the son of the late Otto Theisinger and the late Caroline Combs Theisinger.
He is survived by his loving wife, Marianne Metz Theisinger.
Edward was a true nature lover, a member of the Lynchburg Bird Club as well as an exceptional photographer.
A private family service will conducted.
