Edward Paul Parker, 76, of Rustburg, passed away Wednesday, September 3, 2014. Born July 3, 1938 in Washington, DC; he was a son of the late Jesse Paul Parker and Mattie Foreman Parker.
Paul is survived by his wife of 40 years, Hermenia Patterson Parker; sons: Edwin LaSalle Jackson and wife, Jeannette of Wheaton, MD, Edward Paul Parker, Jr. and, Colin Jones and wife, Denise of Washington, DC, of Richmond,a daughter, Paulita Jackson of Hyattsville, MD; grandchildren, Charnele Jones , James Parker Jones, Gabriel Jackson and wife, Jessica, and Dalonte Moorer, DeAndre Moorer, ; and great-grandchildren, Nathan and Ethan.
A Memorial service will be conducted 3:00 pm, Saturday, September, 6, 2014, in the Chapel of Tharp Funeral Home, Lynchburg, with Reverend James Garner officiating.
