Edward Lee Steele

Edward “Ed” Lee Steele, 69, of Madison Heights, Virginia passed away at home on June 12th, 2025. He was the son of the late Walter “W.L.” and Joy Steele and the husband of Judy Drumheller Steele. He was predeceased by his niece Stephanie Bethel.

In addition to his wife, Ed is survived by his children: Lisa (Mark) Jennings, Kristy (Cecil)Cash, David (Allison) Deaton. Grandchildren: Hunter (Miranda) Jennings, Kylee (Andrew) Elliott, Tyler Deaton, Carter Deaton, Maddie (Samari) Jennings, Miranda Pollard, Nathan Deaton, and Carter Deaton. Great Grandchildren: Hallie Jennings and Kasey Brogdon. Siblings: Deborah Taylor, Barry (Norma Jean) Steele, Rhonda Steele. Nieces and nephews: Chad (Kristen) Steele, Cory Steele, Allison (Zach) Oswald. Great Nieces and nephews: Parker, Rayna, Matthias, Caroline Steele, Gentry Oswald.

Ed enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, tailgating, cooking, grilling, gardening, Halloween and family time.

A visitation will be on Friday, June 13, 2025 from 6 pm - 8 pm at Tharp Funeral Home, Madison Heights.
