Eleanor Jane Ferington

Eleanor Jane Ferington, 86, of Lynchburg, died Thursday, January 29, 2015. She was the wife of the late Wesley George Ferington Sr.
Born Sunday, November 04, 1928 in Niagara Falls, NY, Eleanor was a daughter of the late Adorno Johnson and the late Myrtle Ford Johnson.
Eleanor is survived by a daughter, Ruth Wymer and her husband, Todd, of Lynchburg, a
son, David Ferington and his wife Nancy, of Rochester, NY. She is also survived by eight grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.
In addition to her husband and parents, Eleanor was preceded in death by a son, Wesley George Ferington, Jr.
She was a graduate of the University of Buffalo and was a high school math teacher for many years.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
The family would like to thank Carol Jennings, Tina Scott, Laura Watlington, Marie Coles, and Linda Reynolds for the outstanding care they provided to her. A special thank you to the staff of UVa, Lynchburg Dialysis Center and DaVita of Lynchburg.
