Elizabeth (Beth) G. Brunson
December 20, 1962 — January 30, 2015
Elizabeth (Beth) G. Brunson, daughter of James W. and Elizabeth J. Brunson, died on January 30, 2015, after a long and courageous battle with an illness. She was born on December 20, 1962 and lived her entire life in Central Virginia.
A gifted artist, she was a graduate of Sweet Briar College with a degree in Fine Arts. Her drawings and paintings of local churches, homes and businesses hang throughout the area. Her ability to capture the essence as well as the image of her subject set her apart. Beth also enjoyed her extra career as a pharmacy technician at Lynchburg General Hospital, exercising her precise analytical skills. She will be remembered for her quick wit, innate creative ability, the grace and beauty of her personal style, her allegiance to extended family and her devotion to animal welfare. She was a blessing to all.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by two brothers, Lea M. Brunson (Kim) of Oviedo, Florida; Will Brunson (Lynn) of Forest, and one sister, Nan Carmack (Todd Crytser) of Evington; six nephews, Ryan Brunson, Zachary Brunson, Jacob Brunson, Wyatt Brunson, Ford Carmack, and Will Carmack and two nieces, Danielle Brunson and Taylor Brunson.
She was predeceased by her first adoptive father, Earle M. Brown and is also survived by her biological family, the Jerry A. Steele family.
