Elizabeth (Betty) Zulker Curcio, 90, of Lynchburg, VA died peacefully Thursday, October 6, 2011. She was the devoted wife of the late Norman N. Curcio for 46 years.
Betty was born in Pleasantville, N.J. a daughter of the late William John Zulker and Virginia Carr Zulker. She devoted her life to the Lord and Church and was the Church Secretary and Bookkeeper for Lafayette Federated Church in Lafayette N.J. for 8 years. For many years she was on the Staff of Montrose Bible Conference in Montrose, PA. Prior to retirement, she and her husband Norman owned and operated Nor-Bet Farm and Garden Center, a division of Agway, Inc.
She is survived by her son Jeffrey Curcio, and his wife Cheryl of Lynchburg; brothers: William A. Zulker and wife Isabel of Richland, PA and Charles B. Zulker and wife Ginny of Washingtons Crossing, PA and her former daughter-in-law and friend Sharon D. Curcio. She is survived by her only grandchild, Amanda Truth Curcio, the light of her life.
In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by her brothers Robert L. Zulker, Walter L. Zulker and sister Virginia I. Zulker.
She was a member of Peakland Baptist Church.
