Elizabeth "Liz" Morris Brown

Elizabeth “Liz” Morris Brown, 61, of Lynchburg died Sunday November 22, 2015. She was the loving wife of Clarence H. Brown for over 37 years.
Liz was born February 9, 1954 in Albemarle County, Virginia a daughter of the late Ernest J. Morris and Gladys Thomas Morris of Lynchburg. Liz was a faithful and devoted Office Coordinator at Runk & Pratt Assisted Living and was Baptist by faith. One of her greatest joys was her grandchildren.
In addition to her husband and mother, she is survived by her daughter Sarah E. Munoz and husband Michael who is stationed in Japan and her son Matthew Brown and his wife Kaitlyn who is stationed in Germany, two grandchildren, Preston and Tyler, five brothers and two sisters.
The family will receive friends from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. Sunday, November 29, 2015 at Tharp Funeral Home Lynchburg.
A Celebration of Liz’s Life will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, November 30, 2015 in the chapel of Tharp Funeral Home with Chaplain Wayne Lanham and Pastor John Boyles officiating. Interment will follow at Spring Hill Cemetery.
