Elizabeth “Betty” Lois Morgan Eaton, 81, of Lynchburg died Sunday May 8, 2016. She was the loving wife of Kenneth William Eaton.
Betty was born February 7, 1935 in Dunstable, Massachusetts, a daughter of the late William Rice Morgan, Jr. and Lillian Simington Morgan. Betty was retired after 35 years of caring for the elderly at Baker-Katz Nursing Home. She was an active member of the Life Line Baptist Church in Haverhill, Mass and was affiliated with Heritage Baptist Church in Lynchburg.
In addition to her husband she is survived by her two daughters: Dorothy E. Mitchell and Cynthia A. Leotti both of Lynchburg, a son Dean Rogers Eaton of Holiday, FL, one brother Donald Morgan of California, a nephew (who was more like a brother) Charles Mann of Massachusetts, and a niece Lois Weber (who was more like a sister) of Massachusetts, seven grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by one son Kenneth Donald Eaton, and 15 brothers and sisters.
A Celebration of Betty’s Life will be held at a later date by the family.
