Ellis Carrol Arrington, 74, of Goode passed away on Wednesday, January 31, 2018 at his residence. He was the loving husband of Mary Hicks Arrington.
Born November 14, 1943 in Bedford he was a son of the late Walter Ellis Arrington and Mildred Wilkerson Arrington.
Ellis served in the United States Air Force; he was a member of the Sons of the Confederacy. He was a member of Mt. Hermon Baptist Church.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his son: Jimmy Arrington and wife, Dee; daughter: Teresia Hardy and husband, Steve; brother: Lynwood Arrington; sister: Barbara Abbott and husband, Wayne; five grandchildren; five great grandchildren; stepson: Lewis Harler and wife, Kristi; stepdaughter: Candy Tyler and husband, Dale.
Funeral service will be held at Mt. Hermon Baptist Church Friday, February 2, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. conducted by Rev. John Boyles. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church from 12:00-2:00.
