Elma Lee Price

Elma Lee Price, 82 of Lynchburg, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, June 11, 2013, with her family by her side. She was the wife of the late Daniel J. Price. Born Sunday, June 22, 1930 in Marion, VA she was the daughter of the late Roy Coley and the late Selma Carrico Coley. In addition to her husband and parents she was preceded in death by her granddaughter, Mindy Schweiger.

Elma was retired from AMP INC. where she was a quality control coordinator. She was a member of Tree of Life Ministries. Her family brought her the most joy and when not with them you could find her reading or watching game shows.

She is survived by a daughter, Sharon Schweiger and her husband, Jim of Forest, a granddaughter, Shawnya Walker and her husband, Bo of Lynchburg, two great-grandchildren, Maddie Walker of Lynchburg and Jerid Prater of Richmond, two nephews, Danny Coley of Richmond and Greg Coley of Powhatan, three devoted cousins, Patsy Winters of Grandville, OH., Ronnie Blevins and Gary Blevins both of Marion.

A memorial service will be conducted at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 15, 2013at Tree of Life Ministries with Pastor Mike Dodson and Pastor Don Webb officiating. Interment will be in Rose Lawn Cemetery, Marion, VA. Memorial contributions may be sent to Mindy Schweiger Memorial Scholarship Fund, C/O Tree of Life Academy, 2812 Greenview Drive, Lynchburg, VA 24502.
