Elsie May Warren Coffman, 90, of Moneta, passed away on Friday, Sept 21, 2012 at Bedford Memorial Hospital. Born in Watford, England on August 17, 1922 a daughter of the late Alfred Warren and Annie Elizabeth Rea Warren. In addition to her parents Elsie was preceded in death by her husband, Odis \"Jack\" Coffman and a son-in-law, Phillip Vesper.
Elsie loved knitting, paperwork, playing cards, boating, fishing and traveling with her late husband Jack. Most of all she loved spending time with family and friends. She was a member of Morgans Baptist Church in Bedford. Elsie retired as a clerk in accounts payable/receivable from Morton Salt Company.
She is survived by her loving daughter, Jacqueline Vesper, three grandchildren, Renee Vesper, Guinevere Lucas and her husband, John, and Ceceil Rener; also five great-grandchildren, Caitlyn Lucas, McKinley Lucas, Ryleigh Lucas, John Phillip Lucas and Lauren Hicks.

A Celebration of Elsie\"™s life will be conducted at 1:00 pm on Tuesday, October 2, 2012 at Morgans Baptist Church in Bedford with Pastor Rick Mallory officiating. The Family will receive friends at Tharp Funeral Home & Crematory, Bedford on Monday, October 1, 2012 from 2:00 until 4:00 and 6:00 until 8:00 PM.
