Elva Jane Hopkins Brown

Jane was born March 3, 1951, at her parents’ home in Woodbridge VA where she was raised. She was preceded in death by her husband of 45 years, Phillip Henry Brown.

She enjoyed walking her children and other relatives to and from the bus stop with her dog Ringo by her side. Her and her siblings would often go off into the woods to a place they called the Ben to go swimming. Jane enjoyed gardening, animals, and quilting. She loved anything to do with Christmas. She had two daughters Sherry and Mary and many grandchildren and great grandchildren that she loved dearly.

Jane is survived by her children, Maryann Layne (Bobby) and Sherry Roberson (Kenny); grandchildren, Maranda Lipscomb (Michael), Donald Blankenship (Sarah), Savannah Agnor (Ryan), Phillip Blankenship, Elias Roberson, Hendrix Roberson, Charli Roberson, Luci Roberson; great-grandchildren, Jessica & Madison Lipscomb, Kourtney & Ayden Sprouse, Sara & Spencer Agnor and Connor Blankenship; siblings, Bobby Hopkins ( Pam), Barbara Cote, Brenda Hopkins, Doug Hopkins, Dorothy Arrington, Donna Farnsworth and Terri Shifflett (Duane).

In addition to her husband and parents, she is preceded in death by grandchildren, Joey Roberson, Hunter Roberson, Baylee Roberson, and Adison Roberson, and brother-in-law, Glenwood Arrington.
