Emily R Brown

Emily R. Brown, 80, of Madison Heights, Virginia passed away on November 20, 2023. She was the daughter of the late Samuel Lee Massie and Mary T. Massie.

Emily was born on May 26th, 1943, in Amherst, Virginia. She graduated from Central High School in Amherst.

Emily was a member of Piney Grove Baptist Church and enjoyed cooking, puzzles, and spending time with her family.

Emily is survived by her children: Voorheis Lee Brown (Pamela Morrow) of Conyers, Ga. and Anthony Claude Brown of Indian Land, South Carolina; her grandson Joshua Cole Brown of Amherst Virginia and many loving friends in the community.

 A private memorial service was held on November 22nd, 2023.
