Emma L. Gough

Emma L. Gough, of Campbell County, passed away on Wednesday, November 13, 2013.

She was a daughter of the late Frank H. Gough and Mary B. Gough.

Emma is survived by a brother, F. Rosser Gough, of Lynchburg, nieces Marikay Litaker of Lynchburg, Dr. Katherine Cennamo of Blacksburg, Anne Sears of Athens, GA, Paige Gough of Charlottesville, Virginia Silvey of Oliver Springs, TN, Claudia Googe of Sulphur, Louisiana, nephews Robert Allen Sears, Jr. and Ronnie Dawson of Appomattox, Charles Dawson of Petersburg, Glenn Dawson of Monroe, David Gough of Lynchburg, Carlton Gough of Rustburg, and Ed Gough of Charlottesville, and many great-nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Emma was preceded in death by sisters June Dawson and Katherine (Kitty) Sears, brothers Thomas Gough and Ed Gough, and a nephew Frank Gough.

Emma was a graduate of Virginia Tech with a Master\"™s Degree in Elementary Education. She was a retired teacher with Campbell County Schools, having taught at Altavista Elementary and Yellow Branch Elementary Schools.

A graveside service will be conducted at 2:00 PM on Saturday, November 16, 2013 at Spring Hill Cemetery with the Reverend Sung Woon Yoo officiating.
