Emma Marie Scheeler Jacobs, 88, of Bedford, died, Tuesday, May 13, 2014. Born January 6, 1926 in Baltimore, MD, a daughter of the late William Scheeler and Agnes Miller Scheeler.
Emma was a retiree of Baltimore Inner Harbor Hospital and a member of United Brethren Methodist Church.
In addition to her parents, Emma was preceded in death by her husband, Sylvester Charles Jacobs; one brother; and one sister. She is survived by three sons, Richard “Buddy†Charles Jacobs of Bedford, Glenn Robert Jacobs and wife, Cindy of Pasadena, MD, and Ronald William Jacobs and wife, Susie of Pasadena, MD; two grandsons, Brian Jacobs and Timothy Jacobs; four granddaughters, Annmarie Spacek, Meghan Jacobs, Rebekah Jacobs, and Alison Jacobs; three great-grandsons, Kobe, Dylan, and Kai; one great-granddaughter, Autumn Marie; and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
