Erlene James Keene

Erlene James Keene, 88, of Union Hall, VA passed away on Monday, June 11, 2018. She was born on February 9, 1930. She is the daughter of the late Earle Roy Saeger and Irene Sherrod Downs. In addition to her father she was preceded in death by her first husband, D.Clayton James.

Erlene was a member of Christ Community Church in Penhook, VA. She was a believing Christian and is now with God.. She loved her family and loved spending time with them. She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She will be missed by all that knew her.

Erlene is survived by her husband, Fred James Keene; sister, Terry Nelson and husband, Lloyd, brother, Earle Saeger; three daughters, Sherrie Worley and husband, Stuart, Judy Spencer and husband, Tim and Allie Jones and husband, Danny; one son, Ned James and wife, Janie; 11 grandchildren, Laura Worley, Kevin Worley, Brady Spencer, Emily Carlson, Clay Spencer, Jared Jones, Rachel Belle Isle, Nicole Jones, Seth Jones, Hollie Jones and Katie Winningham;    2 great grandchildren, Luke Belle Isle and Nora Winningham.
