Ernest Theodore Mattison, 67, of Bedford, passed away on Monday, October 10, 2011 at Bedford Memorial Hospital. Born in Oneonta, NY on November 13, 1943 a son of the late Orley Frank Mattison and Hildred Barbara Boyd Mattison.
Ernest attended Ephesus United Methodist Church in Bedford.
He is survived by his wife, Sylvia Chase Mattison; two daughters, Tamela Sterling and husband Karl of Baldwinsville, NY and Brenda Chamberlain and husband, Jeff of Virginia Beach, VA; a step-daughter, Joyce Scott and husband Shearl of Bedford, VA; and four grandchildren.
