Estel Clara Byrd
Estel Clara Byrd, 99, of Coleman Falls, VA, died Saturday, March 09, 2013. She was the wife of the late John Paul Byrd, for 47 years.
Born Saturday, September 20, 1913 in Sieglar County, OK, Estel was a daughter of the late Adolphe McGee and the late Emma Holderby McGee.
In addition to her husband and her parents, Estel was preceded in death by a son: Joe Byrd; two grandchildren: Doug Byrd and Martin Pauler; three sisters, and four brothers.
Estel is survived by her two daughters: Ruby Phillips, of Coleman Falls, and Vera Pauler and her husband, Merl, of Richmond, TX; nine grandchildren: Patricia Underwood and her husband, Doug, of Coleman Falls, Teresa Walker and her husband, Robert, of Oviedo, FL, Margaret Rodriquez and her ex-husband, Ben, of Richmond, TX, Johnny Byrd and his wife, Leala, of Stroud, OK, Jimmy Byrd, of Stroud, OK, Teddy Byrd, of Stroud, OK, Debbie Hamilton and her husband, Ken, of Stroud, OK, Paul Byrd, of Stroud, OK, and Janet Stinson and her husband, Bobby, of Stroud, OK; 18 great grandchildren; 22 great great grandchildren; and two sisters: Cora Meskimen, of Plano TX, and Juanita Bishop and her husband, Glen, of Oklahoma City, OK.
A celebration of Estel's life will be conducted at a later date in Florida and she will be buried in Stroud, OK.
The family would like to thank all the hospice care givers and especially Camica and Elizabeth for the loving care given to Estel.
