Ethel Elizabeth Williams Jacovitch, 98, of Bedford, formally of Roanoke, passed away Saturday, March 14, 2015. She was the wife of the late Cecil Jacovitch, Sr.
Born September 29, 1916 in Davy, West Virginia; she was a daughter of late Wayman Marco Williams, Sr. and Gussie Margaret Musser Williams.
Ethel is survived by her son, Stephen Jacovitch and his wife, Janet; two granddaughters, Kathryn Hundley and Jennifer Jacovitch; and great granddaughter, Edith Kruezer.
Ethel was also preceded in death by a son, Cecil Jacovitch, Jr., a daughter, Susan M. Jacovitch, sisters, Eunice L. Evans and Thelma Williams, and a brother, Wayman Marco Williams, Jr.
A funeral service will be conducted at 3:00 pm, Tuesday, March 17, 2015 in Tharp Funeral Home with the Rev. Joseph B. Flowers officiating. Interment will be private. The family will receive friends at Tharp Funeral Home one hour prior to the service.
