Eugene Frasco

Eugene Joseph Frasco, 85, of Moneta, passed away on Monday, January 18, 2016 at Oakwood Manor Health & Rehab in Bedford. He was born on November 19, 1930 in Peoria, IL. A son of the late Fred Frasco and Agnes Rodgers Frasco. In addition to his parents Eugene was preceded in death by a brother, Corky.

Eugene served his county in the United States Army National Guard. He was a manger for many years with Hiram Walker Distillery and also ran several restaurants and motels in the Daytona area. He also worked for NASCAR for several years doing PR work with the Daytona 500. Eugene loved NASCAR and following the sprint cup series. He also enjoyed fishing, landscaping, gardening, making picture frames and spending time with his family and friends.

Eugene is survived by three children, Eugene Frasco, Jr., Anthony Frasco and his wife, Judy and Landry Frasco; three grandchildren, Tyler Frasco, Cory Frasco and Melissa Singlegary; three great-grandchildren, Zach, Merridian and Liam; one brother, James “Jimmy” Frasco; one sister, Carolyn Lawless and her husband, Anthony also numerous nieces, nephews and many friends.
