Eugene Joseph Quinones

Eugene Joseph Quinones, 74, of Lynchburg, Virginia passed away peacefully on October 18, 2014 at his home after a long illness. He was the husband of Phyllis Rivenburgh Quinones for 48 years. He was born on July 3, 1940, in New York City to the late Santiago James Quinones and Diana Irizariy Quinones, both formerly from Puerto Rico. He was also preceded in death by an older brother, James Quinones, of Spring Hill, Florida.

After graduating from Millbrook High School in Millbrook, New York, Gene joined the Army to proudly serve his country. On returning home, he entered Dutchess Community College in Poughkeepsie, NY, and received an Associate
