Eula Mae Jackson, affectionately known as "Sister," passed away on June 13, 2025, leaving behind a legacy filled with love, laughter, and unwavering support of her family and friends.

Born on December 24, 1951, in Lynchburg, Virginia, to the late Mary Payne Jackson and Edward June Jackson.

Eula dedicated a significant portion of her life to her career, retiring from the Central Virginia Training Center, where her compassion for others shone brightly. She was a pillar of strength, dedicating herself not only to her work but also to her family, ensuring that her loved ones always felt supported and cherished.

A proud graduate of E.C. Glass High School, Eula carried the spirit of her alma mater throughout her life. She was known for her spirited enthusiasm, particularly when it came to her unwavering support of the Dallas Cowboys, embodying the true spirit of a devoted fan.

In addition to her parents, she is now reunited with her brothers, James Jackson and Rewleigh Myers, and her sister, Eline Bradshaw, all of whom predeceased her.

Eula is survived by her beloved and devoted sons, Todd Jackson and Jerrod Jackson (Andrea), who will forever hold her dear in their hearts. She also leaves behind her cherished and devoted sister, Doris Jefferson (Thomas), and brother, Alvin Jackson (Gloria). Six grandchildren including Ebone Mays, Justice Green, and very special granddaughter, Talynn, one great grandson, Greatness Giles, devoted niece Nicole Wood, devoted nephew, Shawn Garland (Andrea), very special nephew, Brian Garland, as well as a host of other nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Special heartfelt appreciation is extended to Heartland Hospice especially Jill, Tierra and Tarsha.

Friends and Family are invited to celebrate her beautiful life at a service that will be held at 1:00 p.m. on June 19, 2025, at Diamond Hill Baptist Church.

Tharp Funeral Home & Crematory, Lynchburg, is serving the family.
