Eunice \"Nannie\" Marie Graybill Wright, 83, of Madison Heights died Tuesday March 27, 2012. She was the loving wife of the late Claude Edward Wright for 38 years.
Nannie was born June 13, 1928 in Bedford a daughter of the late Henry T. Graybill and the late Mary Walkup Graybill. Nannie worked at Webb-Whitaker as a professional seamstress and was a member of Shiloh United Methodist Church.
She is survived by a daughter Debra Viar and her husband Harold of Madison Heights, six grandchildren: Angel Goodman (Jamie) of Hurt; Brandon Freeman (Kristen); Jason Freeman; Shane Turner (Natalie) all of Madison Heights; Christopher Carwile of Lynchburg; and Scottie Wright of Miss., six great-grandchildren: Christian, Caleb, and Colten Freeman all of Madison Heights; Zachary and Autumn Turner both of Madison Heights; and Lydia Carwile, and a sister Elsie Leech of Forest.
In addition to her husband and parents she is preceded in death by a daughter Donna Carwile, and a son Dennis Simpson.
The family will receive friends from 7:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Wednesday March 28, 2012 at Tharp Funeral Home, Madison Heights. A Celebration of Nannie\"™s Life will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday March 29, 2012 in the chapel of Tharp Funeral Home, Madison Heights with the Rev. Charles Anderson officiating. Interment will follow at Fort Hill Memorial Park.
