Eunice M. Strachan

Eunice M. Strachan, 97, passed from this life on August 25, 2018. She was a longtime resident of the Smith Mountain Lake community, serving as an active member in the Huddleston Fire Bells and Moneta Garden Club.  She was a member of Staunton Baptist Church.  There she received Christ as her Savior and was baptized into eternal life with Him.  That is where she is now and awaits those she has predeceased.

Her sons, James W. Strachan, Raymond J. Strachan & wife Elaine, Bruce (Stretch) A. Strachan; her granddaughter Lani Jade Mills & husband David; two great-granddaughters, Cierra and Tanner; a step great-granddaughter, Adrianna and a step great-grandson, Aidan will all carry on preserving cherished memories of her during her temporary absence in their lives.

In England, her birth country, many relatives will miss the relationship she maintained for many years.

A private celebration of family is planned.
