Eunice Marie Campbell, 61, of Amherst, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, January 5, 2018.
She was born on August 22, 1956 to the late William Atwell and Della Berger Atwell. She was preceded in death by a granddaughter, four sisters, one brother, and a special nephew.
She is survived by her loving husband of 31 years, Gleason Massie “Sneaky Snake” Campbell; seven children: Angela Tolbert and her husband, Keith, Crystal Breeden and her husband, John, Michael Hasson and his wife, Amber, Douglas Carter and his wife Jamie, Bobbie Wilkes and a special son-in-law, Calvin, Dwayne Campbell, and Cody Campbell and his wife, Ashley; 19 special grandchildren, four great-grandchildren; two sisters, Louise McGee and her husband, Willard, and Cleo Shirkey and her husband, Richard; four brothers: David Atwell and his wife, Sandra, Daniel Atwell, Donald Atwell, and Barney Atwell and his wife, Joyce; many nieces, nephews, and other relatives; her special friends Mary Etta Payne and Isaac Tinsley; and her church family.
A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 9, 2018, at Tharp Funeral Home, Madison Heights. A visitation will be held on Monday, January 8, 2018, at Tharp Funeral Home, Madison Heights, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Interment will be at Tree of Life Cemetery.
