Eva Marie Donald Stephenson, 70, of Evington, passed away Sunday, May 4, 2014. Born November 28, 1943 in Lynchburg; she was a daughter of the late William Hubert Donald and Alice Vest Donald.
Eva is survived by her husband Leroy Stephenson of Evington; her daughters, Katherine Marie Smith and her husband Bobby of Altavista and Jennifer Renee Barrett and her husband Jimmy of Forest; grandchildren, Alicia Paige Smith, Ethan Alexander Barrett, Emma Clare Barrett; three sisters: Billie Roberts and her husband Howard of Evington, Shirley Ashworth and her husband Bill of Boonsboro and Ann Mayberry of Lynchburg, a special cousin and friend Vivian Hockett of Lynchburg, and a host of close family and friends.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by two sisters, Doris Elizabeth Enochs and Katherine Edna Thompson and two brothers, Elwood Wyatt Donald and William Hubert Donald, Jr.
A graveside service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday May 7, 2014 in Altavista Memorial Gardens with Pastor Jeff Chapman officiating. The family will receive friends at her home at all other times.
