Evan Patrick Nichols

Evan Patrick Nichols, 21, of Bedford, passed away on Wednesday, November 27, 2013. He was born on October 14, 1992 in Washington, DC, the son of Patricia Stanley and Michael Shawn Nichols. Evan was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Floyd H. Stanley, Jr.; paternal grandparents, Cecil Patrick \"Pat\" Nichols and Rita \"Louise\" Sappington Nichols; his uncle Christopher Kevin Stanley; his aunt, Susan Nichols Drayer, and his cousins, Gary Blaine Herr, Samuel Carl Schindler and Lisa Marie Dunn.

Evan loved life, music and the outdoors, especially, fishing. He enjoyed primitive camping, swimming and spending time with his wonderful family and friends.

In addition to his parents Evan is survived by his loving brother, Cory M. Nichols; maternal Grandmother, Margaret Stanley; aunts and uncles, Floyd Stanley, III, Rachel Stanley, Lori Stanley, Richard Stanley, Barbara Stanley, Karen Schindler, Trish and Bo Duls, Sid Nichols, Margy and Mitch Goldman, Joe and Theresa Nichols, John Nichols, and Danny and Patty Nichols; his loving cousins, Jennifer and Joshua Stanley, Holly Herr, Lauren Schindler, Shawna, Danielle, and Natalie Nichols, Ashley, Kayla, Josie and Nick Nichols, Marshall, Matt and Meredith Goldman, Hank and Annie Bott, Donnie and Brad Drayer, Anna, Graham and Josh Duls; also in addition to his loving family, Evan was survived by a host of the most wonderful and caring friends that have been there for so many years. It would be impossible to mention each and every one of you.

A celebration of Evan\"™s life will be held at 4:00 pm, on Friday, December 6, 2013 at Tharp Funeral Chapel. The family will receive friends from 1:00 pm until 3:00 pm at Tharp Funeral Home. Arrangements by Tharp Funeral Home & Crematory, Bedford, (540)-586-3443.
