Evelyn Ann Reichel, 68, of Lynchburg, VA, passed away on Thursday, October 30, 2014. She was the wife of the late Peter August Reichel, Sr. for 24 years.
Evelyn was born November 15, 1945, in McKees Rocks, PA, the daughter of the late Kathryn Mikovitz Sakara. She worked for Flight Environments in Paso Robles, CA for nine years.
Left behind to cherish her memory are her two children: Karoline R. Hicks and her husband, BJ of Lynchburg, and Peter Reichel of Desert Hot Springs, CA; her three grandchildren: Katelyn, Ashley, and Lindsey, all of Lynchburg, VA; her brother, Robert Sakara and his wife Anne of Columbia, SC; and her two nephews: Michael Sakara and family of Columbia, SC, and Senior Chief Petty Officer James Sakara and wife of San Diego, CA.
The family will receive friends at their home from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, November 2, 2014. A private service will be conducted at a later date.
