Evelyn Bass Woodall
Evelyn Bass Woodall passed away peacefully at Heritage Green Daybreak on Thursday, January 24 at 6:00 am. Born July 17, 1917, Evelyn was preceded in death by Wilson her loving husband of 75 years. She was a long time member of Timberlake United Methodist Church.
She is survived by her daughter Lorine "Woody" Daniel, her son Tom and his wife, Karen; grand-daughter, Melissa Baker and her husband, Stephen of Portland, Oregon; two sisters: Carrie Booth and Ruby Carwile; numerous nieces and nephews.
The family will be received on Sunday, January 27th from 3:00 – 5:00 pm at Tharp Funeral Home, 220 Breezewood Drive, Lynchburg, VA 24502 with funeral services at Tharp Funeral Home on Monday, January 28th at 2:00 pm. Burial will follow in Fort Hill Memorial Park.
Memorial contributions may be made to Timberlake United Methodist Church, 21649 Timberlake Road, Lynchburg, VA 24502 or Gentle Shepherd Hospice, 6045 Peters Creek Road, Roanoke, VA 24019.
