Evelyn Coleman Glass, 95, of Lynchburg, died Tuesday May 19, 2015. She was the loving wife of the late Charlie Lewis Glass.
Evelyn was born on October 11, 1919, in Lynchburg, a daughter of the late Frank Lester Coleman and the late Eva Bryant Coleman. Evelyn was a devoted homemaker for her children and a member of West Lynchburg Baptist Church.
She is survived by her son, Wayne Glass of Staunton; her daughter, Kathy Brooks and her husband, Darrell of Forest; her grandchildren, Jeffrey Glass, Jennifer Glass, Jonathan Brooks, and Sarah Brooks Rowland and her husband, Tim; two great-grandsons, Carter and Bennett Rowland; a brother, Paul Coleman and his wife, Marie of Forest; and her sisters, Katherine Wright and Bee Lipscomb, both of Lynchburg.
A Graveside Service for Evelyn will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday May 22, 2015, at Fort Hill Memorial Park with the Reverends Virgil & Sue Knipp officiating.
