Evelyn Marlene Crouch Roades, 81, of Wirtz, passed away on Sunday, November 4, 2018. She was the wife of the late Marshall Preston Roades.
Born on March 14, 1937 in Bedford she was the daughter of the late Marvin and Ethel Trout Crouch. She is also preceded in death by brothers: Danny, Charles and Bobby Crouch and great granddaughter: Lexi Bridgen.
Marlene is survived by her daughter: Debra Johnston; grandchildren: Eric Bridgen, Isaiah Johnston; great grandchildren: Trinity Bridgen, Marshall Johnston, Dalilah Bridgen; brother: James Crouch and wife, Mamie Crouch; brother in law Billy Atkins; and many nieces and nephews and loved ones. She is cherished by all of those she has left behind.
A memorial service will be held at Tharp Funeral Home in Bedford on Wednesday, November 7, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. conducted by Rev. Melvin Harris.
