Evelyn Page Wallace

 

Evelyn Page Wallace, 88, of Lynchburg, passed away Monday, January 14, 2013.  She was the wife of the late Jesse Thurman Wallace.

 

Born on January 12, 1925 in Henderson County, TN, she was a daughter of the late Rufus Floyd Page and Elizabeth Ringgold Page.

 

Evelyn is survived by: her daughter, Jane Wallace Sublett and her husband, James, of Lynchburg; her son, Randall Wallace of Los Angeles, CA; six grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren.

 

In addition to her husband and parents, Evelyn was predeceased by her two brothers: Samuel A. Page and Charles R. Page; and her sister, Betty Jo Myracle.

 

A memorial service will be held at Rivermont Avenue Baptist Church at 2:00 PM on Thursday, January 17, 2013, with the Rev. Glen Land officiating.  The family will receive friends following the service at the church.  A private interment will be held at Spring Hill Cemetery prior to the service.
