Fannie Byrd Thornhill, 92, of Lynchburg, died on Monday, February 23, 2015 at Westminster Canterbury in Lynchburg, Va.
Born August 30, 1922, in Lovingston, Va., she was the daughter of Dr. Estes C. Kidd amd Frances Wood Kidd. She was preceded in death by her husband, J. Steven Thornhill, and her daughter, Kim Thornhill Spencer. She is survived by her son, Steven L. Thornhill; her three grandchildren, Carrie Spencer Mitchell, Chris Spencer Haver, and Anne Spencer Carroll; and five great-grandchildren, Caroline Mitchell, John Mitchell, III, Sara Haver, Jason Haver, and Jesse Carroll.
