Fannie Elizabeth Robinson

Fannie E. Robinson of Lynchburg, died Tuesday, October 23, 2018.

She was born in Paynesville, West Virginia, and was a member of the Old Regular Baptist Church in Hale Creek VA. She formally attended Leawood Baptist Church in Lynchburg.

She is preceded in death by her husband Carl (Bill); two sons, William Danny, and Toney Newton; son-in-law, Ralph Waldon Sr., all of Lynchburg; four infant children; parents, John W. and Fannie E. (Pruitt) Vance; three brothers, five sister, all of West Virginia.

She is survived by her daughter, Verdie Lou Walton; son, Ray T. Robinson daughter in law and final days caregiver, Laura (Beavers); Maxine; daughter in law, Reba (Carter) Robinson; three grandsons, Victor Waldon Jr., Craig Robinson, and Kenneth Robinson; five granddaughters, Deborah Dominquez, Tonya Robinson, Anita Winebarger, Heather Tollar, and Angela Doss; fifteen great grandchildren; and two great great grandchildren .

The family will receive friends Saturday, October 27, 2018 at 12:00 p.m. with a service following at 1:00 p.m. at Tharp Funeral Home Lynchburg. Burial will take place immediately following the service at Fort Hill Memorial Park with her nephew Gary Michael Short officiating.

Tharp Funeral Home & Crematory, Lynchburg, is assisting the family.
