Faye Wood Huff

July 30, 1933 — January 16, 2022

Faye W. Rosenberger Huff, 88, of Lynchburg, VA passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 16, 2022, at Guggenheimer Health and Rehab Center.  Faye was the daughter of the late Nelson C. Wood and Thelma S. Wo od.   She is the wife of James A. Huff.

Faye was born in Tacoma Park, MD on July 30, 1933, and was a graduate of Brookville High School in Lynchburg.  She was a loving mother, grandmother, and sister and had been active in many organizations over the years, Eastern Star Chapter 109, Bedford, Timbrook Woman’s Club and the Wesleyan Women’s Circle at Timberlake United Methodist Church to name a few.

Remaining to cherish the memories of Faye are her husband, Jim Huff, daughter, Roxanne Martin-Frey & Michael of Montclair, VA., son, G. Steve Martin & Alisa of Lynchburg, VA, Stepson, Ronald Rosenberger & Cheryl of Lynchburg, VA, stepson, Joel Huff & Kimberly of Lynchburg, VA., stepdaughters, Janine Rodriguez & Scott of Palm City, FL, and Laura Chastain & Scott of Jupiter, FL.  She was blessed by 12 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren as well as her very special sister, Jerrilan Keys of Forest, VA and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Jerome Rosenberger, her special grandson Joshua S. Martin, great grandson Isiah Esquivel, and additionally four great grandchildren (un-Named).

A graveside service will be conducted at Bethlehem Baptist Church on Saturday, January 22, 2022, at 11a.m. with Pastor Marvin Suitt and Mr. Jacob Martin officiating (If inclement weather the service will be moved inside the church building).  Faye will lie in state for open visitation during the hours of 1pm to 7p.m. on Friday, January 21, 2022, at Tharp Funeral Home, Lynchburg.
