Florence Mildred Naab Bohlander, 98 of Bedford died Sunday June 7, 2015 at the Summit in Lynchburg. She was the wife of the late George Stanley Bohlander, they were married for 67 years.
Born in Whitehouse Station, New Jersey, on May 22, 1917, she was the daughter of the late William Jacob Naab and Emma Marie Gubitz Naab. She lived on a dairy farm and worked as a bookkeeper. After 50 years of farming, she and her husband retired and moved to Bedford in 1987.
Florence is survived by her son: George Stanley Bohlander, Jr. and his wife, Linda, of Bedford; daughters: Elizabeth A. Horn of Flemington, N.J; Joyce M. Huff also of Bedford; eight grandchildren: and 15 great-grandchildren: and two great-great- grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held in Holy Land Cemetery on Tuesday, June 9, 2015 at 11:00 a.m.
