Frances Hedrick, 90, of Evington passed on Monday, January 18, 2021. Born in Lynchburg on Tuesday, December 30, 1930 to the late Ernest and Nettie Dodd Fitzgerald. In addition to her parents, she is also preceded in death by her husband of 55 years John Hylan Hedrick.
Frances is survived by her two daughters, Barbara McKinney, and Terri Roach both of Evington Va.; two ex-sons in-law; four grandchildren, and a number of nieces and nephews.
Frances was a long time member of Beulah Baptist Church for over 60 years. She was a secretary that loved reading, outings with family, and bingo. She was a member of the Professional Secretary Services, and Fort Hill Women’s Club.
She will lie in repose Wednesday, January 20, 2021 from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Tharp Funeral Home Lynchburg. A graveside service will follow on Thursday 1:00 p.m. January 21, 2021 at Fort Hill Memorial Park.
