Frank Brooks, 72, of Evington, Virginia passed away on June 18, 2020 at home surrounded by his children and grandchildren.

Frank Brooks was born in Norristown, Pennsylvania to the late Arthur Brooks Jr. and Carmella Lattanzi Brooks on September 22, 1947. Although born and raised in Norristown, later in life Frank moved to Bedford, Virginia to be near his four children.
Frank was a jack-of-all-trades with careers and hobbies including gravedigger, machinist with Philadelphia Gear, Direct Support Professional with KenCrest, Dry Wall Specialist, and VW Bug aficionado. In his younger years, Frank was an agile, competitive wrestler.
Frank is remembered as loving, forgiving, accepting, generous, and fiercely protective of his loved ones. He was scrappy and fought for his beliefs, had a curiosity with a drive to learn, and a wanderlust spirit. With his ease to make others laugh, Frank was quick with a joke, never met a stranger, left a room making everyone’s day brighter, and easily offered a smile to all who crossed his path.
Widower of Patricia “Tish” Marie Brooks, Frank Brooks is also preceded in death by his parents; siblings Robert Brooks, Maryann Brooks Stralkowski, and David Brooks; son Frank Brooks Jr.; and grandchildren Lillian Brooks, and Gabriel Brooks.
Frank Brooks is survived by his children Michele Brooks Trumble (Todd), Suzanne Brooks Kuhn (Shawn), Heather Brooks Peroni (Andrew), Michael Brooks (Tahlia); grandchildren Nicholas “Nic” Trumble, Noah Trumble, Tanner Trumble, Taylor “Leigh” Trumble, Madalyn Trumble, Rebekah “Beka” Kuhn Hicks, Brooks Kuhn, Caroline Kuhn, Amanda Kancianic Stewart, Austin Roney, Nicole Peroni, Alexis Peroni, Nathan Peroni, Aaliyah Simbana, Eric Simbana, Jessica Simbana, Morgan Brooks, Jacob Brooks; and great grandchildren Kaden Trumble, Kassius “Kash” Trumble, Lennox “Lenni” Trumble, Zoey Trumble, Ryleigh Trumble, Elliot Hicks, August Kuhn, Madison Kuhn, Christian “CJ” Dooley, Logan Stewart, Grayson Stewart and many loving nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
