Frank Forbes

Frank Forbes, 75, of Evington, passed away February 7, 2012. Born January 28, 1937 in Harrell, North Carolina; Frank was a son of the late Robert Forbes and Minnie Garland Forbes.

A proud Army veteran, Frank served his country in the Korean War. He was a member of Old Forest Road Baptist Church.

Frank is survived by his former wife and special friend; Grace Forbes, a daughter; Carol Bolt and Lee of Forest, his sons; Frank Forbes and Beth of Vienna, Charlie Rogers and Julie of Forest, grandchildren; Jennifer Ervin and Boyd of Lynchburg, Christopher Bolt and Kerri of Kentucky, Adam and Alex Forbes both of Vienna, Morgan Rogers of Forest, great-grandchildren; Boyd Ervin, Jr. and Luke Ervin, both of Lynchburg,.

A Funeral service will be conducted 11:00 AM, Friday, February 10, 2012, in the chapel of Tharp Funeral Home with Christopher Bolt officiating. Interment will follow in Fort Hill Memorial Park.
