Frank Johnston Mara, Jr., 72 died Thursday, November 5, 2015.
Born Wednesday, November 3, 1943 in Trenton N.J., Frank was a son of the late Frank J. Mara and the late Ruth McKeen.
In addition to his parents, Frank was preceded in death by his son, Brian Mara.
Frank is survived by his previous wife, Stephanie L. Mara; sons, Frank Mara III, and fiancé Heather Mays, and Mike Mara; two sisters, Jean Hill and Ruth Frederick.
He was known for his outstanding skills as an electrician and excellent sense of humor. Frank was very proud to be a member of the Electrical Union Local 269 for 50 years.
Frank lived many years in Titusville, New Jersey, before retiring to Appomattox, Va. There he was active in the Democratic Party and enjoyed his passion for fishing and his dogs, Rocky and Dixie.
