Frank Jose Gonzales, 81, of Bedford, died Sunday, July 6, 2014 at his residence. He was born December 18, 1932 in Campbellton, Texas, a son of the late Enies Gonzales and Beatrice Tejeda Gonzales.
Frank served in the U.S. Marine Corps during the Korean Conflict.
In addition to his parents, Frank was preceded in death by a daughter, Melinda Carrie Gonzales; one brother; and two grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Rosentina Cuellar; five children, Lisa Charmain Norman, Dan Gonzales, Caesar Gonzales, Frank Louis Gonzales, Anna Marie Rivard; 14 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; three sisters; and four brothers.
A celebration of Frank’s life will be conducted at 11 AM, Friday, July 11, 2014 in the Tharp Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends from 1-3 PM and 5-7 PM, Thursday, July 10, 2014 at Tharp Funeral Home. Burial will be conducted at 1 PM, Monday, July 14, 2014 in Culpeper National Cemetery.
