Frank Wayne "Chicken Man" Casalenuovo, of Rustburg, Virginia, passed away peacefully on October 23, 2023, surrounded by his siblings and children. He was born on February 22, 1947, to Mary Maxey Tanner and Frank Casalenuovo.
Growing up, Wayne played basketball for Rustburg High School. He also played softball and showed horses. He lived and breathed sports: NASCAR, Virginia Tech, the Colts, the Bulls, and the Dodgers.
Inspired by his mother, Wayne became an entrepreneur. He managed his own businesses, FWC Inc. and Cosmo Coach Lines, for over 30 years. He was a devoted family man who also faithfully served his church, the Lion's Club, the Moose Lodge, and Dixie Youth Softball.
Wayne's memory lives on in his children Donna Casalenuovo, Kristen Casalenuovo, Ashley Monse (m. Daniel), and Andrew Casalenuovo (m. Sara); his grandchildren Bryce, Roxanna, Hunter, and Grayson; his siblings Darnella Brown (m. Jerry), Greg Casalenuovo (m. Judy), and Melissa Carwile; and countless friends in the community. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother-in-law Jerry Brown.
