Fredrick “Fred” J. Noble, 91, of Lynchburg, Va., died Wednesday, August 10, 2016. He was the loving husband of the late Gaynelle Ashby Noble.
Fred was born Friday, December 12, 1924 in Anderson, Ind., a son of the late Fred Noble and Leafy Harrison. He was retired from Windsor Group Insurance where he was an insurance salesman.
Left to cherish Fred’s memory are his daughters, Diana Cocke and Deborah Noble; grandchildren, Josh Gerni and his wife, Angela, Pascha Gerni and Peter Means; great-grandchildren, Kelsey, Sophia, Emma, Liam, and Nate; sister, Sylvia Swinford.
In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters and three brothers.
The family would like to give a special thank you to the staff at Liberty Ridge for their support during this difficult time.
A graveside service in honor of Fred’s life will be conducted today, Friday, August 12, 2016, at 10 a.m. at Virginia Memorial Park.
Tharp Funeral Home & Crematory, Lynchburg, is assisting the family.
