Celebrate Bernell 's life with a short message, photo or video!

Not only was he my father's brother, he also graduated with my mother from Beulaville High School in 1951. It always felt as if he were my uncle on both sides! I so enjoyed those weekends he would come to my parents' house in order to attend the high school reunion. I am so grateful for the time I was able to visit with him in January 2020 when I was there for Tony's birthday bash. All my life, I heard how special he was from anyone at Beulaville who knew him prior to his graduation. When I shared with several people from those years that he had passed, without exception, each and every one of them spoke about what a fine person he was. I will miss you, Uncle Bernie. Even though I seldom saw you, my world was brighter with you in it.

Bernie and the Miller family were our dear next door neighbors for many years in our Lynchburg neighborhood of Sandusky. Bernie was a wonderful man...a loving and dedicated father, husband, and friend. He was always so kind, soft spoken, and greeted everyone with a smile...even when he was in the middle of blowing the tremendous quantity of leaves we had each fall! He will be remembered not only as a respected and wonderful neighbor, but for his quality life well-lived. With heartfelt sympathy, Elaine and Larry Monaghan

We are sorry for your loss. We had the pleasure of meeting and spending some time with him and Carolyn. They were so kind and were a lovely couple. Both families are in our prayers.
