Betty was the sweetest, kindest, most joyful lady I believe I have ever met. Although it has only been a few years that I have known her, and my time with her was short, it was time that I will cherish forever.

I loved Betty as the sister I never had. As my roommate she brightened my days during our years at Bluefield College. She loved my parents and they loved her as their own daughter. Betty should be remembered as a Christian woman who lived every day by the Golden Rule.
