Carolyn was the first Heartland resident my mother and I met when mom moved there. We met her outside on the front patio area and she greeted us with that big smile and welcoming voice. Such a sweetheart. After mom passed we were moving her things out of her room and Carolyn saw us and she immediately realized what had happened. She cried with me for a few moments. Thank you Carolyn for seeing the heartbreak of others - even through your own struggles you had a kind word and smile. I am sure you are already missed by many.
