Cassaundra Jackson
Cassaundra Anetta “Sista” Jackson, 63, departed this life on July 23, 2023, here in Lynchburg. She was born on August 16, 1959, to the late Regina Jackson and James Jackson.
Cassaundra was the baby of her four siblings who preceded her in death, her three brothers: Robert, Larry, and James Jackson.
She leaves to cherish her memories a sister, Patricia Jackson; a sister-in-law, Marretta Jackson; a daughter, Deanda Jackson; a son, Reginald Jackson; two God-sons, Jamon Jackson, and Chuckie Smith.; four grandchildren, Danesha Jackson, D’kiya Jackson, Asia Jackson, Britney Barksdale; three nieces, Sheerie Jackson , Deshay Jackson, Jamie Jackson; one nephew, James Jackson Jr.; two great nephews, Deshawn Jackson, Alijah Martin; three aunts, Yvonne Gilbert, Thelma Tanner, Maxine Ross; two best friends, Bessie West (Ne-nee), Deborah Wilson; and a host of family and friends.
A celebration of life will be held on Monday, July 31, 2023, at 12:00 PM at Tharp Funeral Home. A visitation will be held one hour prior. Interment will follow at Forest Hill Cemetery.
Tharp Funeral Home & Crematory, Lynchburg, is assisting the family.
