Christine Mae Hutcherson Taliaferro

Christine Mae Hutcherson Taliaferro, 59, of Forest, passed away on July 20, 2023 at Bedford Memorial Hospital. She was born in Texas on May 23, 1964. She was preceded in death by her dad, James Woodson Grim; brothers, Edward Hutcherson, Jr. and Keith Hutcherson.

Christine enjoyed bingo and listening to live music at the moose lodge. She had a heart for animals and loved going to the beach. She will be missed by all who knew her.

She is survived by her mother, Brenda Pickeral Grim; daughters, Laura Deaner-Allen and Stephanie Johnson; grandchildren, Raven, Morgan, Gabi, Alexis, Hannah and Landon; a great-grandson, Oaklyn, who is due in October and sisters, Angela Hutcherson and Sandra McDaniel.

A celebration of Christine’s life will be conducted at 1:00 pm on Wednesday, August 9, 2023 at Tharp Funeral Home, Lynchburg.
