Constance “Connie” Brown Campbell
Constance “Connie” Brown Campbell, 91, of Lynchburg passed away Saturday, April 29, 2023. She was the loving wife of the late Clarence J. Campbell.
Connie was born on February 4, 1932, in Lynchburg, a daughter of the late Frank William Brown and Fannie Toms Brown. Connie was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, a devoted homemaker, was retired as a professional secretary, and was a member of Tree of Life in Lynchburg.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by seven siblings: Ruth Gallaher, Carl, Fredrick, Alfred, Lewis, Frank, and Fannie Brown, and one brother-in-law Charlie William.
She is survived by her four children: Alice Carwile (John), Jewel William, Danny Campbell (Pam), and Laura Reynolds (Tim), three grandchildren: Jason Campbell (Mandy), Scott Campbell (Katie), and Julianne Williams (David), seven great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m., Friday, May 5, 2023, at Tharp Funeral Home.
A Celebration of Connie’s Life will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, May 5, 2023, in the chapel of Tharp Funeral Home with Pastor Mike Dodson officiating. Interment will follow at Presbyterian Cemetery.
